For more than 100 years, the VFW Auxiliary has been fulfilling its original objectives by supporting the Veterans of Foreign Wars, serving veterans, active-duty military and their families, and spreading patriotism nationwide.
Steps to Apply for VFW Auxiliary Membership:
Confirm Eligibility: Ensure the veteran relative served overseas and received a campaign medal, or received hostile fire/imminent danger pay.
Locate a Local Auxiliary: Use the online locator at vfwauxiliary.org to find a VFW Post with an active Auxiliary.
Complete a Paper Application with our local post OR you can apply with the Online Application: Fill out the VFW Auxiliary Membership Application.
Gather Proof of Eligibility: Obtain documentation of your relationship to the veteran (e.g., birth/marriage certificate) and the veteran's proof of service (e.g., DD214).
Submit and Pay: Submit the application and documentation to our local Post along with payment (cash or check for annual dues or lifetime membership fee).
Approval Process: The local Auxiliary will review your application and vote on your membership
